Governors Island Brats

For those who lived, played and grew up on Governors Island.

The next big reunion is scheduled for August 3-5, 2012. As of now, a "Meet and Greet" cocktail cruise is planned for Friday, August 3, aboard the Spirit of New York, which will depart from the Chelsea Piers at 6:30 PM that evening. For more details, please see the Reunion 2012 Information link above. The Spirit Cruise event is available for registration right now. Act quickly to secure your space on this cruise as the boat's capacity is limited! Please see Spirit Cruise's home page to get a preview of the vessel and the event! Events will also be planned for Saturday August 4th on the island, and will be announced as they develop. Unfortunately, the island is now under new management, and the behaviors with which we are all accustomed for CG Day are no longer tolerated!

There are a good number of hotels within walking distance of the Governors Island Ferry. Please  check this page for a sampling of hotels and their rates. The Wall St. Inn has an excellent rate for attendees of the Governors Island Brats Reunion (you will need to mention the event to get the rate) but the rooms being held are limited! All other rates shown reflect those available as of 25 February. Please check with the hotel to see current available rates.
